Maddie is a Paul Mitchell graduate of 2024, with a sweet personality and attention to detail, she ensures guest comfort and satisfaction.
She has a deep passion for dimensional color, textured cuts, and all varieties of perms. Maddie aims to create looks that enhance a guest’s natural beauty and fit their hair needs.
Outside work you can find Maddie with her nose in a book and cat companion at her side.
Ruby Stylist
Breana has been in the industry since 2021, as a curly girl herself, she prides herself on helping her guests embrace and enhance their natural curl. She is a detail oriented stylist specializing in cutting hair types 1A–3B, as well as educating her guest’s on their curls. She has a love for lived-in color and dimensional brunettes.
Bre has a thoughtful touch that she uses to create personalized looks that complement a guest’s natural beauty.
Ruby Stylist
Drew entered the industry in 2023 and has since become Bellami extension certified. She enjoys doing vivids, blonding, alternative looks, and major corrective color. Drew also offers services catering to textured hair such as silk presses and loc retwists.
Hannah is currently on maternity leave and is expected to return late Spring 2026.
Hannah is an experienced stylist whose passion and creativity is evident in every customized haircut she creates. From pixies, bixies, bobs, men’s cuts, to all things layers, she takes pride in creating a specialized look for every guest’s needs and face shape. Hannah also enjoys custom gray coverage and all things perms.
Hannah’s southern charm and sweet thorough nature makes all guests in her chair feel right at home.
Emerald Stylist
Autumn relocated from Charleston, SC in summer of 2025 and is excited to bring her blend of creativity, skill, and care to The Hilt. She has a passion for all things color, with a special love for lived-in blonding, hand-painted balayage, and creating effortless, soft looks. She enjoys helping clients feel their best with seamless gray coverage, layered cuts, chic bobs, and men’s cuts.
Autumn is dedicated to customizing your hair goals to match your lifestyle and personality; above all else for all her guests to feel confident and refreshed.
Emerald Stylist/Assistant Manager
Kaylee has been in the industry since 2017. She specializes in reds of all varieties, soft dimensional color, and warm tones. As a recent Bellami certified extension stylist, she is eager to provide her guests with this option for achieving the thick, voluminous hair of their dreams.
Her goal is to make every person in her chair feel safe and beautiful by creating personalized hair plans for every season of life. As well as educating and empowering all who sit in her chair, about their hair.
Outside the salon Kaylee can be found with her husband, cats, yoga, all manner of “grandma” hobbies and a good book.
Diamond Stylist/Team Lead
Established in 2003, Shawna’s work is defined by consistency, precision, and high-quality results. She specializes in gray coverage, detailed haircuts, and warm dimensional color. Shawna offers a seamless, professional experience for guests who value both excellence and efficiency.

Behind the chair since 2018, Taylor joined The Hilt in March 2024. Taylor’s thorough approach to hair with equal parts creativity, intention, and science. Her philosophy is rooted in making hair the best it can be; healthy, wearable, and customized to fit each client’s lifestyle. The goal is elevated hair that still feels effortless and real, never overdone.
While happy to perform almost all hair services, layered, textured haircuts, soft lived-in dimensional color, and bold vivids have a special place in her heart.
When she's not in the salon, you can find her holed up at home, with her husband, two huskies, and cat; usually gaming or engrossed in a fantasy novel.
Esthetician & Salon Conceirge
Kayli has been a licensed esthetician since graduating Kenneth Shuler in 2024. She loves providing relaxing spa-like services that are tailored to each guest’s needs. Kayli offers a variety of seasonal facials, lash lifts, tints, brow lamination, and body waxing services. Her goal is to create a comfortable and safe experience for all her guests, while also providing a personalized care plan.
Founder/Co-Owner
Trayce has over 30 years experience behind the chair and provides in-person shadowing for growing stylists to help build their skillset through training. Plus, Trayce is a lead stylist with Lilly Hilt Fashion Show team. She is currently taking clients at our Van Wyck location.
Co-Owner/Growth Analyst
You'll see Brittney in the salon, usually with a laptop or notebook in hand. Don't be confused when she doesn't offer to do your hair - she's our spreadsheet nerd and co-owner, leaving hair to the experts.
I’m new in town and was looking for a good salon, so I visited The Hilt for the first time for a consultation. Everyone was so friendly, and the salon is nice, clean, and comfortable. I booked my appointment with Drew, and I want to specially recognize her—she is so gentle and did an amazing job on my hair. I felt comfortable the entire time and absolutely loved the results. Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere that made me feel welcome and relaxed right away. The staff was very helpful and the studio was clean and decorated in an adorable eclectic style. The service was excellent and my stylist was so helpful on how I can style my hair at home, showing me tips and tricks. Overall the whole experience was enjoyable and I love my new haircut.

Taylor listened to what I wanted and absolutely nailed it. She took the time to listen to my issues, explain what she was doing and was overall fantastic. Will definitely be rebooking. There was an problem with overpayment but it was sorted out without me even realising there was an issue!
Great experience. I felt comfortable, and Bre was very knowledgeable. I love my haircut and it is hard for people to cut my hair since it is thick and has a wavy/curly pattern.

Love Hilt Salon. Have known Shawna for a salon a long time. She is excellent and talented. Customer-focused and fun to be around. She listens and gives you the look you want. I cut my hair from her latest suggestion for a different style. I love it and is perfect for me and my lifestyle. Go and try it! The new upgrades are beautiful.
